ALMAL
Hit the hills with Almal at about 630am. We walked up San Gabriel to Guadalupe Ridge. West on Guadalupe. The cloudy sunrise was nice. It started sprinkling on us as we traveled along Guadalupe. Eventually we dropped down into the valley just before Fat Man's Pass and started back to the east. Light sprinkles and a breeze picked up as we went into the wash from Hidden Valley. Under the natural bridge and down a few dry falls, we followed the wash to Ridgeline. On Ridgeline, we were eventually hit by the light wall of dust that came from the south, just after the clouds moved through. We then took Beverly back to F.U. Hill, then back up to Guadalupe and down San Gabriel. Good little exercise loop and nice to catch up with Al. The weather was an unexpected treat. Perfect morning to be outside.
