| no partners | | Drove in a ways off of General Crook's Trail (Hwy 260) and parked my truck, then headed out to find a couple of geocaches along Tin Can Draw. Well, one was along the draw and the other was east of the draw where the mesa started dropping to the fossil Creek area below.
It was a dreary day and sprinkled on me most of my return. Glad it wasn't raining harder or the drive back to 260 would have been a soupy mire.
On the way out I went cross country a large portion of the way and returned on the jeep road once it was available.
There was a large Indian ruin near the turn around point. There were lots of rooms and it was even multiple levels.
Fun day but I'm glad I got back to my truck when I did as the rain was picking up. |
