| no partners | | I decided to go for a longer hike today as I haven't done anything much over ten miles so far this year. I hiked about half of this a few weeks ago with my daughter and that wetted my appetite for a longer stretch along the BCT.
The weather was great today. A bit warmer than I expected, especially wearing long sleeves.
I saw seven mountain bikers and didn't see any other hikers until the last mile or so on my return. It was pretty quiet out but that was no surprise for a Monday.
I was expecting to see some brush starting to grow for the upcoming spring flowers but there really isn't anything. The flower show this year is looking to be dismal at best.  |
