FR142 from 87 is in very good shape right now. After the 142E turnoff it gets a bit more bumpy but still car ready to the very end. After an easy car camp Friday night, I got an early start down the trail and headed upstream. Only saw two other folks "hanging" near the spring. Went further up to a better spot on the right bank. Sub 6 hammock and homemade sil-tarp worked well.
Got some rain Saturday around noon, then went upstream to catch a few small trout. Only saw two other people and one dog.
This place is really getting trashed out.
