Friday Evening
Quick little hike after work turned into an epic lion kill find of my first grey ghost deadhead which to me is just so special and something I’ll never forget.
Saturday
Took a local friend of mine with me Saturday to explore and nearly complete a whole segment of some of my favorite canyons for a solid 10 mile loop with a fun and somewhat unexpected little class 3 climb out with perhaps one of the heaviest packs I’ve ever put on my back.
Celebrated with a rib sticking delicious meal at Ayothaya Thai in Payson since all the restaurants in Strawberry and Pine are all nearly hour plus waits on the weekend nights ever since the forest reopened, especially my favorite now ever so popular “The Old County Inn”.
