Gallydoll

7am start with Gallydoll, Jan and Yolanda Starting temps were in the lower 50's. Humphreys trail was damp and the roots were slippery. I used CdninAZ's GPS track as a guide. There are several faint trails and cairns everywhere. Crossing the boulder fields on the way out really slowed us down. I was aiming to come in at the lower part of the debris field and then work our way to the top and then back out. Just as we arrived at the wing, FLASH BOOM! Lightning and thunder! We made a beeline for cover of the trees below. We cut our exploration short and started back for the trailhead. Minutes after getting back to the truck the rain started and didn't end until we got to Anthem.
