Little Caesar threw this together 5 years ago. It is a See Canyon loop utilizing See Spring Canyon to maximize Autumn Foliage. Larry joined in the clockwise hike, which included descending two little drop offs.

Rain has been targeting weekends. Unlike the Cardinals we had several game plans, watching the point forecast through the week. Karl & 9L joined. We elected counterclockwise to ascend See Spring Canyon before the forecasted rain. It seemed like a safer option.

The lower canyon wasn't showing great signs of color. Weather was fab. See Spring Canyon turned out to be borderline doable for myself. We bypassed the typical dry falls that were running today. It took a solid two hours to get 2.5 miles up clearing the canyon. 9L lead pretty much the entire hike and Karl graciously lugged my pack up the steep parts.

The hike around Bear Lake was nice weather and company. Nothing exciting foliage wise. Karl went off route a couple times to capture color that caught the eye in passing.

Beaver and Rattlesnake creeks where running good from rare Oct snow melt which translated to lots of creek crossings. An olympic jump over a creek by a bull elk was cool to witness. Granted it was ten feet but I couldn't do it gracefully lugging six hundred pounds.

Upper See Spring Trail #185 was the show. Not the best display. A couple tunnels of color on trail with the nice autumn breeze was my favorite.

Trail #184 midway to top is popping on the upswing. Expected waning with snow on the rim two weeks ago. Instead it's a week away. Geology rocks, big whoop. Weather and the life cycle of a leaf mystifies!

Probably not common to be flowing this nice in Oct. An early snow 2 weeks ago has snow melt feeding the creeks.

Medium flow for portions, went underground or ceased in spots. An early snow 2 weeks ago has snow melt feeding the creeks.
