Short day after hike. I call this the spectacle hike because the route looks like a pair of glasses after being driven over by a car. Met up with ray and did the Hackberry spring loop. Ray added a twist to this hike by adding some side canyons that I had never been on before. Was planning on hiking to the lake and back via First Water Canyon but with my knee being a little sore from yesterdays hike I'm glad I listened to ray when he suggested I tone today's hike down a bit. Glad I did turned out to be a very enjoyable hike with good conversation. Water in pools along First Water and there was a little flow in the narrows near Hackberry Spring.
