Took a stroll up on Perry Mesa with a plan to cover a little bit of new ground and pass a nice petroglyph site I'd been to before.

I started not far from the New Windmill and walked along the edge of Hackberry Wash. I passed a couple petroglyphs, a couple bedrock metates and a small cave that had some stacked stones at the entrance. Continuing along I didn't see much of interest until I got to the glyph site. I also passed a small ruin I'd been to before.

I was hoping to find some more small (1 or 2 room) ruins in that area, but, except for scattered pottery pieces, nada. I had thought this would be a good time to find stuff given the fire earlier this year which took the grass off most of Perry Mesa...but this area must have been spared...plenty of grass still hiding stuff.
