Paradise was bone dry, so we gave Rock Creek a chance. It turned out to be a great decision.

The Rock Creek Trail has been cleared and it was cruiser to the falls. There is a little acacia coming back in spots, but someone did a tremendous amount of work on this trail. It’s hard to believe the FS maintained a trail that has been decommissioned for decades, but someone cleared it and cleared it well. Maybe some ground crews were using the trail to maneuver along the Woodbury Fire perimeter, or maybe some hunters did it. Either way the trail is pretty nice, making the falls destination and the hike to them an eastern Supes gem now. Especially, considering what was lost out there.
