Got started a little after 10am. Cool temps and a nice breeze, but it felt warm as soon as we started to go uphill. The trail is fairly easy to follow about 70% of the way, but faint in several places, making a track to follow quite helpful, and cairns abound. Some spots are brushy, and could use some maintenance, but overall not too bad. Great views in all directions most of the way. Excellent views from the top. The hike back down went quickly, and was easier to follow the route. Saw a handful of people on the way down. Nice to meet Nick and hike with him. The road in has been recently graded and is in excellent condition, and should not be a problem for just about any vehicle.
