We thought the time would be good for wildflowers, but there wasn't alot going on yet. It does appear the brittle bush are going, so I expect the Ford canyon may be good now. We did find some patches of flowers here and there. Hike overall was good. Once you get over the initial push up Goat canyon its pretty level walking, with great scenic views, almost alpine like, without the pines

1. Goat Camp
2. Mesquite Canyon
3. Mule Deer
4. Bajada

We got a nice early start, so didn't really run into anyone until well into the Mesquite section of the hike.
