Decided to finally do this one. I opted for a night hike since I'm not real big on city hiking, and its to hot to hike in the day in Phoenix.

Started 7:20pm and finished up at 3:00am. Figured I could avoid crowds, and did. Only saw two others in the first mile of the trail, then it was free of people. :y:

Wife said it was to hot, even at night to do this hike, so I did it by myself. Took a little extra water just in case...
Unfortunately, my wife was right, it was to hot. Just about at the towers, I was feeling tired, and started to meter my water usage since I could tell I did not have enough for this trip. Turns out 20 degrees hotter, day or night makes a big difference on water consumption.. I barely dragged my wimpy self through the hike.

Sometimes I surprise myself, I've hiked quite a bit now, but still capable of making some real bone-headed mistakes. Anyhow, did get through it and got some decent night photos.
