| no partners | | Going for the cooler locations now. Won't be to long and the wife will declare a moratorium on hiking for the summer. We decided to to a short hike at the Pine Trailhead and the Pine Loop Trail going at 3.2 seemed fine. We would then check out the Tonoto Natural Bridge State Park. Turns out most of the state park is closed.
Anyway, the hike was quite nice, but the wife was not happy with the mud, and kept on stopping to clean the mud off her shoes, that would cake back up ten steps later. She reminded me of a cat with wet paws...
A hike worth doing, but at 3.2 miles you will want to do some other things if you are diving all the way up there.
I have added the gps track if you are interested. The trail is also clearly marked on the trailhead sign.
Also a note that this parking lot is now paved, so no dirt road. |
