I had never hiked up to Picketpost, and when @johnlp and @trekkin_gecko gave me an opportunity to join them, I jumped at the chance!

This was a fun hike, and the views at the top are awesome. I like this hike better than Flatiron -- the views are better and you don't have to do the death march on the Siphon Draw Trail on the way back. I thought going up was better than coming back down.

John and Kelly were super fast going up, and I slowed them down some. I am not all THAT slow, but I sure can't keep up with them. I can see that route finding can be a challenge on this one, and I was fortunate to be with 2 hikers who knew the trail.

This hike is a keeper, and it is a hike that I'll do again.
