| no partners | | I figured that today was a good day to make my second trip up to Mount Ord in 2020. This hike isn't all that exciting, especially if you have done it a few times, but it fits the bill for a good exercise hike that has some distance and elevation gain.
There was probably 8"-10" of water running through the wash on the trail a short distance from the TH, which made for an interesting crossing.
The trail was a bit muddy in a few places, but not too bad. It was a bit chilly at the summit, so we did not linger up there too long.
On the way back 6 jeeps took FR 27 all the way down to the Beeline Highway -- with the road being wet they added a few more ruts to the road.
There is a little bit of snow on the trail up near the summit, but it was easy to deal with.
