Battleship in the Supes is one of my favorite hiking destinations, and I decided to do this one again before the weather gets hot.

A small group of us did the hike from the First Water Trailhead, and after going up and down Battleship, we dropped down into La Barge Box. There is still a decent amount of water in the box, and as usual it was nice to be down there exploring a bit.

There was not nearly as much water in Boulder Canyon as there was in early December, when I was last there. We had to step on stones in a couple of the creek crossings to keep our feet dry, but it was easy to do. There was no water at all at most of the creek crossings.

When we got back to the TH somebody came walking up with a jar of marijuana that he had found on the trail. The ranger at the trailhead said that it probably belonged to a group from California that was camping out there somewhere. It is never a dull day in the Supes!

I accidentally left my GPS at home, so the stats above are from the last time that I did this exact hike.
