Party of 12 right in front of me so there was very little use looking for the local Fauna. I ended up being happy for just a party of 12. The crowds had hit hard on the way back. Dog Poop on the Trail. Brightly colored bags on the trail and off the trail. (I put it back on the edge of the trail.) Someone commented that I was the only person they'd seen that didn't have a dog with. Made me think about how much I missed mine.
Probably the best place of the trip for Wildflowers, but it still wasn't enough to write home about. But there were some patches here and there. I enjoyed coming back here, but need to start at the crack of dawn next time. This will continue to be a favorite for sure.
1st day of the trip I didn't get rained on, even though it was forecasted. I was a bit bummed because it rained so much the day before that my truck was a real mess. But it wasn't to be and I had to wash it myself when I got home. I'm sure the mechanic changing my oil was eternally grateful. |

Wildflowers Observation Light Bunches here and there and a lot of variety. |
