80 years old and still deadly with a snowball.
Sunday, headed out with a quart of water and an apple in my back pack.
Parked right across the cattle guard where Fresno meets Peck canyon. Headed to a mine on a cliff between the arch and the windmill. The mine is filled in and the rock all around is sharp and very slidy.
It took 30 min to get to the mine from the truck and there was frost in shady spots till 10:00.
From the rim on the south side of the canyon I could see a very faint track leading to some cliffs on the North side. Here the track stopped, so instead of listening to my back an hour ago I pressed on UP to the cliffs at the top of the ridge. These were an easy climb/scramble.

Good day for a hike. Cool. Small breeze. Quiet. Brought back a javelina skull for the kid.
