James suggested this, it was new for me, and he has an annual pass, so it was a fine hike for a Sunday before the wind picked up. It did end up being very windy on the summit, but not at all when just below it or for the rest of the hike.

Lots of burn changes. Most everything looks dry and barren now, but most oaks are fine. They just need summer rain. Most saguaro are gone. Grass is growing back for the next burn!

A decent hike, but one I won't be doing for a while. It is best done clockwise, primarily because the descent would be terrible to hike up. Great Pusch ridge views!

My first time back in the park since I drove in (for free) to enjoy the Pusch Ridge view on Thanksgiving Day of 2014. So, it was also a nice and new hike to crest over 100,000' of AEG for the year. This is the first time I have gone over 100,000' this early in the year, or April, since 2016. I did this in 2015 and 2016, and both of those years had me hiking a lot down in Tucson.
