It had been about 7 weeks since I had hiked Mount Ord, and I figured that I would hike it again while the weather was being cooperative.

There was cloud cover all the way until I hit FR 626, which was nice; but what the clouds giveth, the humidity taketh away.

It was obvious that there have been some heavy monsoon rains in the area. There was some new erosion in some sections of the trail, and the trail was rockier than before.

It was a nice day for a hike -- the temperatures were in the 70's for the ascent, but it was getting warm over the last 3 miles or so of the hike.

Wildflowers Observation Light
There was a good bit of field bindweed still blooming, and a few prickly poppy. There were a few other flowers blooming, but they were very sporadic.
