Final training hike (make it a double!) before my North Bass dayhike.

First Round: 4:28 total including :23 min of breaks (little bit of light jogging on way down).
Leisurely lunch at truck while listening to the Suns game. Changed socks at hit it again.
Second Round: 5:10 total including :32 min of breaks (a little slower and now no jogging).

No bear this time, but encountered a beautiful, peaceful gopher snake. Helped off the road for his protection.

Another fire starting right near highway 87 - restricted to one-lane on the way home as they were fighting right from the highway.

North Bass here I come!!! : )
