| no partners | | | Got to the TH around 10 and parked along the street. As I started out a large meetup group was close behind me but luckily they were headed towards Bulldog saddle so all was good. Met Rhonda on the trail. She mentioned hiking to a saddle she hadn’t been to in the past, I pointed out a saddle I was headed towards along my route and offered out and invite to her to tag along and she accepted. At the saddle we parted ways although I had the feeling she wanted to give the loop a try but after a short discussion she decided against it. The backside of 2730 is my favorite. Feels remote. Took a short break on the saddle and enjoyed the views before heading down and back. Great little hike. Stopped at Sprouts for a $5 sushi lunch. |
