Got an early start, only one other vehicle at the trail head when we parked. Trail conditions were very good with a nice clearing for the trail through the grassy areas. The area is recovering very nicely post Bush Fire which was good to see. Crossed paths with several thru-hikers going both directions and a couple section hikers.
The pools were dry so we hiked down the creek bed because we could. A small flow of water in Sycamore Creek but no troubles crossing. A great day enjoying a fantastic area. |
