| no partners | | Took a drive down horseshoe lake road to see some wildflowers. There were small pockets of flowers in the beginning of the road, then medium sized groups as you got further down the road. I just parked whenever I saw an area I wanted to explore and got out and walked around. If you venture into the little washes, you’ll have the best luck. I didn’t record and have no idea my miles… it was just random meandering. I did “hike” up a hill to a crested saguaro that was cool to see up close too!
Road turns dirt after 2 miles and then it’s a little bumpy here and here but nothing any vehicle with some clearance can’t handle. The only issue is anywhere you’re pulling off to park is sand, so don’t get stuck! |
