| no partners | | | We borrowed the dog this morning for a nice walk at Thunderbird Conservation area. He enjoyed it, much more than he would've enjoyed the mountain we hiked yesterday by Lake Pleasant. ( Actually he probably would've liked it, but stress to have him pull humans up and down steep loose volcanic rock on the mountain.) We hiked up the summit and then took a loop around. If I had more time I would've liked check out more of the trails here including the cute walkway above 59th ave. I didn't mind the abundance of people because I had my coffee. But I did like all the cute dogs on the trail. The city views and surrounding mountains are nice. Smoggy. Good to get out for some quick urban hiking and happy to check out a new area with trail options. |
