Met up with Scott around 0800 and headed up Marcos De Niza. Very breezy. We saw eight javelinas along the trail and spent a few minutes taking pics of them. Continued west up the full length of Guadalupe Ridge. Back east on National, then Hidden Valley, staying in the wash the entire way back to the trailhead. One chuckwalla sunning herself on a rock in Hidden Valley, which had a large group of elderly hikers confused and intrigued. Other than the mildly boring section of National, this is a great SoMo loop. Good to see Scott again, and fun conversation.
