| no partners | | I decided to stretch my legs close to home today, both for a bit of a workout and also to see how wildflowers compare to a week ago, when I was last in the area.
The same things are still blooming: lupine is getting close to maturity and fiddlenecks seemed taller than they were. Owl clover is picking up some, but it still has room to grow I think. Brittlebush continues to disappoint -- I'd guess that only about 5% of it is blooming right now. Maybe the brittlebush will pick up the tempo once it warms up a bit, but I am beginning to wonder. |

Wildflowers Observation Substantial Wildflowers still look pretty good in this area. Blueish hues dominate the landscape, primarily lupine and ricardos de azul, although there is also some scorpion weed in places. |
