| no partners | | I decided to stay close to home to check out the wildflowers. I have not been on the Sonoran and Lower Sonoran Trails since wildflowers started blooming, so I decided to check these trails out.
From the Adero Canyon TH I did the Sonoran Trails Loop CCW, by going first on the Lower Sonoran Trail and then the Sonoran Trail. On the way back I took the Western Loop Trail up and over Peak 3098, aka the West View Overlook.
As @johnlp predicted, the brittlebush has busted loose in this area. There are lots and lots of flowers blooming, but the brittlebush is dominant right now.
With some 90 degree temperatures coming this next weekend, I'd say that this week will be the peak for wildflowers in the area. |

Wildflowers Observation Extreme The brittlebush has busted loose, and the flowers that were out earlier in the spring are still going strong. This is about as good as it gets in this area. |
