we got going around 1300 (once i was escorted to the proper meeting location :lol: )
i've done north mountain and shaw butte twice before, most recently in 2014 :o
this is the first time i've been on all of 306 and connected shaw butte with north mountain
we went up shaw butte first, looked around a bit up top, then continued on the loop
then up north mountain and back along 7th street
brittlebush and scorpionweed, then some lupine near north mountain
sunny skies
nice to be back up here - i enjoyed the hike
i also enjoyed the root beer and peanuts afterwards :)
