| no partners | | Awoke to (surprise!) SUNSHINE! Beautiful views across the river. I started at 7:45am. There's some ups, downs and steps along the way. Legs were sore, likely from all the walking the past 3 days.
Again I ran into more than a few dog walkers. The route takes you along the beach and harbor through Dysart and West Wemyss.
There's several places where the trail is less than well-marked. Coming out of West Wemyss a sign directed me up a hill along a road. Not seeing another sign, I followed the road for about a mile until it reached the main highway. No more signs but I stayed on the sidewalk into East Wemyss.
I figured 6.52 miles was plenty for today and my timing was good. It was clouding quickly and started raining on the bus back to Kirkcaldy.
I'll pick up in East Wemyss tomorrow. |
