Started 6:20am, finished 8:10am. 44th St and picked up canal at 40th St. and walked to AZ Biltmore hotel. Back along the same route, only on the north side of the canal.

This section always has good views of Squaw Peak (yeah, I'm an old-timer!) and Camelback between 32nd St. and 40th St. I don't pass up the opportunity to search for errant balls off the 1st tee of the Links course. :-) Being the Biltmore, there's always the possibility of a ProV1 or ProV1x instead of a Molitor or Kirkland special.

Probably the normal amount of traffic on the canal. Joggers, walkers, bikers. Thought I saw a hawk early on atop one of the telephone poles.
