Start 5:21am, end 7:45am. 40th St/Shea TH. Mostly on the 100 trail, but wandered around on the 8 trail and a couple sub-trails as well. Back here it's really make your own hike on the trails.

Comfortable and almost cool to start before the sun comes up. Nice sunrise looking back toward Four Peaks. You get some good pics as the sun's coming up. Not a lot of traffic early, which means you can listen to the sounds of the desert. Lots of doves, quail and saguaros in bloom.
