Great hike, weather was perfect, lots of solitude, trail conditions were good, the worse being the upper portion of Jacks Canyon where there were some down trees to navigate, and new to us trails. Really enjoyed the Hot Loop Trail, and the upper section of Jacks, even with the deadfall. During parts of the hike I was thinking to myself that this might be my favorite Sedona area hike, especially weighing in the solitude. Definitely on the do-again list. |
