Saw the recent triplogs posted for the area by @trekkin_gecko and @johnlp so decided to check out this loop using the Pipeline Trail.

Parked in Round Valley. There was water running at the road crossing but no issues getting across. Hiked the loop in a CCW direction to check out the dirt bike trail first. It's steep in sections but easy to follow as we made our way to the corral/cabin. Pine Creek was running but easy to get across dry at this crossing.

Took a short break at the cabin to empty the granite from the shoes and then continued the loop on the Pipeline. Pipeline Trail is a 2-track trail but very enjoyable. At the Pine Creek crossing along the Pipeline Ryan decided to rinse his shoes off, or, slipped off the rock used to cross the creek dry :) Water was running from Mud Springs but we didn't check the source. I took a short detour to check out Boulder Mountain Spring but only went as far as the creek drainage to verify water was running. From there it is all downhill back to the parking.

Nice loop but we both agreed that if we did it again, CW would be better.
