| partners | | I only had the morning free to hike, but Bruce and I found a suitable hike. We started hiking around 0730 to pleasant temps. Headed north from Dry Lake, which is just a giant mud puddle. Passed by a forest thinning operation, as we made our way to Jones Crossing. From there, we followed East Clear Creek back south. I didn’t even try to keep my feet dry, just walked through the water wherever it didn’t seem too deep. Saw some turkeys, but they were camera shy. The only real elevation gain of the day was climbing from the creek back up to the trailhead, but that was easy too. Nice morning for a hike. Thanks, Bruce, for working with my schedule! |
