| partners | | Joe B and I completed are 5th passage of the AZT. Thanks to Bruce and Dave for helping with the shuttle and joining us. We have now hiked from Pine to Flag . Only 38 more to go. This was a LONG section but not a lot of aeg. This distance really takes a toll on my feet. Great weather for this one. The area was very green and lots of flowers, mushrooms, and ants. Dave saw a few Elk but I missed them. Did see the Raptor in Bruces picture but not sure of the breed. We were able to cache some drinks at the 2/3 mark to lighten our load. Lots of Pine trees and some of the biggest oak i've seen so far hiking the AZT. Some Juniper and a few Aspen. Dave and I stopped for Mexican food at the place that use to be the Swiss Village Bakery. It was pretty good. Thanks for the company and another great hike Bruce,Joe and Dave! |
