| no partners | | I started out today where I finished off yesterday. At the corner of Sahuarita Rd and Sonita Highway. From here I continued on and finished up passage 7 and then completed number 8. 7 was very flat but had nice views in all directions.
The closer I got to the Rincon's the more I thought to myself: that is going to be an effort to get up and over them in passage 9.
Passage 8 was great and was more scenic than I had expected. Passing La Posta Quemada and the Colossal Cave area was interesting as well. From the end of this section at Hope Camp, I followed the Hope Camp trail up to its junction with the Quilter (passage 9) and then continued on to the Loma Alta Trailhead.
One of my employees (Eric) was in Tucson for the day would arrive 3 minutes later. He is looking for housing as he will be going to UofA in the Fall. That worked out just perfect!
From here it was straight to Dairy Queen! |
