This is by far the most scenic passage on the entire Arizona Trail. Or not! Most people will say this is their least favorite passage but it isn't bad. Just doesn't have as much visual interest as most of the others. Today however proved to be a great day to hike this passage. The weather was great and the colors of the earth were nice set against the blue sky with light cloud cover. It did get a bit windy at times but not bothersome.
I enjoy seeing the various ranches along the way this trip there were hundreds of cattle out grazing. Once again Pam was kind enough to drop me off at Moqui Stage Station and then pick me up later at Cedar Ranch. In the mean time she was able to go do a couple great hikes of in the surrounding area.
Thanks for the assist Pam! |
