AZT 15 N2S

Nick and I had this one arranged for about a week now. He would hike it south to north and I would hike it north to south. He started off around 6:30 at the Freeman Road Trailhead and shortly thereafter I came along and left my car there and took his to the Kelvin Bridge. This is where I would start my journey. This passage is just fantastic on the northern half. It is also what I would classify as a classic desert hike on the southern end. Tie the two together and you have a very enjoyable passage.

I think on another day I will come back and hike from the Kelvin Bridge to the "Big Hill" as an out and back. The north end is just that nice. The views are outstanding and there are some nice little peaks that would be fun to hit along the way including the Big Hill.

After the hike Nick and I met up in Kearney and had some pizza. Awesome!
