Making my way down the final stretch. This morning I drove down to the Trailhead in Gardner Canyon and left my Jeep and started out heading south. I had already made arrangements with Gerry (Owner of Stage Stop Inn in Patagonia) to stay at his Hotel. He would also help me with retrieving my Jeep. We did this before on my previous journey from south to north. He will also be taking the Cherokee down to Parker Canyon Lake tomorrow as I do sections 3 and 2.
The weather was perfect today and I saw several deer along the way. Passing Mt. Wrightson made me think that Nick and I still need to hike it from Gardner Canyon. We have been talking about it for awhile. I can tell just by looking that it will be an awesome hike!
