| no partners | | Spent the last couple of days in Wisconsin visiting my Brother, Doug, who has been suffering for almost a year now since being diagnosed with Hepatocellular Carcinoma (liver cancer). I can't believe how strong he is in spite of being racked with tumors and weight loss that has him resembling nothing like his former self that used to go hiking with me in the Superstitions.
This morning I went for a bike ride and had the misfortune to make the turn into the Game Farm. The deer fly's must have missed me for the last couple of mornings and were making up for lost time. There were so many circling me that they even ignored the fabric softener sheet tucked into my hat and were biting the back of my neck 
I made it a short tour of the Game Farm and finished my ride on the blacktop roads to avoid more attacks. Did manage to observe a young Fawn in a patch of wildflowers, stopped to get some shots, but it got nervous after the first one and disappeared into the flowers  |
