Full blown late summer wet and wonderful conditions prevailed (chiggers and all). She got to see this place at its best! 
Sat around Saturday evening in the dark drinking beer and eating pizza until about 10 PM, thinking I'd wait for Pam to get back to camp. But decided to call it quits and head for the tent instead, not wanting to disturb the peace when she returned. Right call. The carrying on of others in the campground that evening provided lots of entertainment anyway! The weather was quiet, which was kind of a downer, as it would have been nice to have had a light show thrown in the mix.
