Couldn't sleep...again.
Got out of bed hit the trail right about 1:25am

Alone, tired, slightly hungry, part of me was grumpy enough to go to the river, the sensible part of me kept laughing.

Saw a deer, spider, worm, a cool red n black bug that had a glowing butt!!! And a snail...a SNAIL on BA??? Kinda random.

Also spotted a pair of yellow eyes staring at me on my way back up, just below upper tunnel.
We had a stare down for a few moments before I decided it was a ringtail cat.
Soon as I said that aloud it calmly danced away into the night leaving only a smile on my face.

Quick detour to see the class 1 rock art, absolutely stunning as usual!
