| partners | | My girlfriends and I were finally able to get back to our usual Wednesday evening hike. Of course, nobody could agree on which trail to do (no surprise there, since when do three women ever agree on anything?) After a bunch of back & forth, they decided on Pyramid over to Goat Hill. No complaints from me, since I'm usually the one stuck with driving to the other side of Tukee, it was nice to start near my house. We started around 6pm and caught the end of a nice sunset, headed up Pyramid, then on National over to Goat Hill. I'm not sure what I did, but one friend who hasn't hiked with me at night for a while, commented "I forgot just how nuts you are." I think maybe she and I have different opinions of what "a little steep" means. Nice hike back down, breezy along National, but the cool air felt nice. Heard a lot of coyotes, but never saw them. |
