| no partners | | cclockwise. Was going to do this hike last weekend but got a stomach virus instead. Oh joy! NOT.
Waited til 1pm today as it would be just a tad warmer and the weather forecast said it would only be partly cloudy, no chance of POP. Well it was mostly cloudy and bits of sprinkles occurred throughout the hike. Everyone else seemed to be going clockwise. Still haven't done any substantial hikes for quite awhile so this is one of those that eases me back in. Tried to keep up a decent pace. On that last part coming up the back side I forgot how many long curves you switchback around. Observed the old trail I used to have to take so many years ago.
Next I went over to Spur Cross to check out Cave Creek to see what 3 inches of rain made the creek look like. Separate trip report. |
