In the area today so I snuck in a visit to the falls. Roads are closed until Friday so I parked near the gate and walked. After climbing down to the falls and cooling off in the mist I briefly went down stream and had lunch. Definitely plan on returning when the area is a little greener. There were still some snow patches on north facing slopes above the river. Beautiful weather and total solitude today besides the numerous cattle.
