) I started filling in the pieces. The last one (that I know of) was Alta, and due to the heat after I could drop the kids off at school, I did the hike in two parts a couple of days apart. The first was from the west trailhead (really Estrella Drive) to Maricopa Peak, and the second was the east trailhead (triangle parking area) to Maricopa Peak. Not much clean air over the city -- and hot temperatures -- but some great scenery along the trail, including impressive trail-building on that north-side traverse.
