Always enjoy arriving at the water falls and the petroglyphs , getting there not as much. Started from the trailhead at the west end of Cloudview. After departing the Lost Goldmine trail lots of buffalo grass, catclaw and boulders to circumvent. Flowing water for the last third of the hike so another challenge to keep your feet dry. Saw no one else, nor any wildlife, there was a nice cool westerly breeze on the return trip. Overall a challenging but good day in the Superstitions. |
