| partners | | | Daniela & I decided to hike Guadalupe Ridge again before the weather gets too warm. As we started, there were rescue crews helping a woman down the dirt road--I guess she fell and injured herself while running. We headed up Marcos De Niza, then the full length of Guadalupe Ridge. We dropped down to National, then headed towards Hidden Valley. I had told Daniela about a father and son (7 yrs old) I had talked to yesterday on Pyramid; they'd asked me about kid friendly hikes while they are in town from Chicago, and I'd made some suggestions. While in Hidden Valley, I saw them again--I was glad to see they were enjoying their time in AZ. "Good Morning!" to us. He was friendly, and seemed happy to be outside, but Daniela & I jumped about a mile! After Hidden Valley, we got back on National and it was a quick walk back down to the trailhead. We crossed paths with a couple of Cardinals players, they were also in a good mood, lol. We finished up around 11:30, and it was starting to feel WARM, not much breeze today. |
